Vulva or penis decides if it is a boy or a girl as if there are two options for gender, represents gender binary. Society is made of man and women based on what their genitals look like and also assigned gender roles. Boys expected to dress masculine and fulfill some roles. Penis makes you strong, tough, active whereas girls are expected to be feminine, dress in other way and fulfill other roles. The kind of lives we should live, the kind of people we should be and that is where gender binary comes from. 1980 pink for the boys, decided and stronger colour vs blue more delicate and dainty better for the girl. Gender: relationship to masculinity, femininity, both or neither; expression based on that relationship and to their sex. Sex: anatomy a person appears to have when they are born, what genitals look like. Hormones and chromosomes that are present or absent.
