Schematic drawing (7-8 years: develops definite forms representing their environment, uses a baseline, but may be placed randomly, repeats common drawings, (cid:862)x-ra(cid:455)(cid:863) perspecti(cid:448)e see inside and outside at the same time. Dawning realism (9 years: smaller and more detailed drawing, there may be a horizon, use of realistic perspectives and colours.
