Elvis" voice has a bit of southern accent and a bit of dialect. Happy lyrics (bit of a tin pan alley), blues combo and the rest is all country. The sun echo when elvis recorded this song, he was working for sun records. Created by taping elvis twice but one has a slight delay. Greater resonance to his voice wetter sound. Elvis started singing black gospel and developed a huge vocal range. Became poster boy for rock and roll. Teenagers loved it because they knew rock & roll was about sex. He was on the ed sullivan show but only filmed from the waist up.
