Privilege something that benefits you but you are not entitled to it, they come from custom and tradition. Not guaranteed under the law custom. Who has privilege white, heterosexual, cisgender men. Not having privilege with respect to membership in a particular group is more obvious than having privilege with respect to membership in a particular group blindness to privilege. Lots of people with privilege have difficulties accepting that privilege exists because they believe that everyone has the same experiences as them. Intersectionality different sources of privilege or non-privilege intersect - can be part of privilege and non-privilege groups at the same time. People are(cid:374)"t solel(cid:455) defi(cid:374)ed i(cid:374) ter(cid:373)s of one thing: a wrinkle for 1 and 2 it would be easy to quantify the lack of privilege form that one feature of their identity. The more privilege you have the more you tend to see the world as meritocratic.
