Organization of british business interests: similar to the us, government departments preferred to deal with single. Interest group: favoured groups given inside status, discourage competitors in policy making process, confederation of british industry (cbi, regular and privileged access to all gov departments, secure position in policy making process, peak association, but weak. No legal or moral requirement for individual companies to be apart of trade associations and none for trade associations to be part of cbi.
