In public media, health and disease can be quantified in terms of the amount of deaths, number of outbreaks world wide or in a distinct amount of times, and amount of people treated, for example. I would describe my intervention method and what i would like to achieve from it, including predicting a decrease in prevalence, estimating the likelihood of the disease occurring with the intervention method put in place. Additionally, i would outline what/how my intervention method would work in terms of a population. E. g. if it is a method of decreasing water contamination, my method would outline the necessity of only drinking treated water, of washing hands, etc. Incidence rate: defined as the number of new cases of a disease that occur during a specified period of time in a population at risk for developing the disease.
