Gender identity is how we feel we are. Gender expression is who are express out we are. Hagan said that gender and the social class of their parents impact what freedom the child can have. Teenage boys are often given more freedom that girls boys all be boys . Girls have a more limited experience growing up. The amount of power someone has in the workplace in uences their teenage children. Parents who have bosses are more tolerant. Type of household also impacts how much freedom they have. Patriarchal house hold (stay at home moms, gender division, women doing everything, men sit) women are responsible to take care of children. Girls are subject to more supervision, they help. Modern households where both parents work, egalitarian, the supervision is equal . both likely for deviant behaviour. Sexual assault doesn"t require any form of penetration for it to be considered sexual assault.
