Pitch airplane"s nose up to desired pitch, add full power, carb heat cold, trim nose up and maintain best rate/ speed desired. To recover apt, bring plane back to cruise attitude, reduce power to cruise setting (2300 rpm), trim as necessary. Pat make sure mixture is rich and carb heat hot before pat. Reduce power to 1500 rpm while maintaining altitude, then change attitude (pitch down), trim nose down. To recover, pat, increase power to 2300 rpm, bring nose back to cruise attitude, trim as necessary. Hasel check except the lookout part, note the heading (noticeable landmark) Lead level off 22. 5 degrees prior (half the bank angle), use rudders to help with levelling off.
