A tca solution was added to a well-ground sand-yeast mixture. Then the sand was allowed to settle (p-1) and the liquid portion (s-1) was removed and then centrifuged to form a pellet (p-2) and a supernatant (s-2). Re- suspended p-2 was boiled and then centrifuged to form a pellet (p-3) and a supernatant (s-3). Cold ethanol was added to s-3 forming a suspension that was centrifuged to form a pellet (p-4) and supernatant (s-4). P-4 was re-suspended in sulphuric acid and half of this solution was transferred into glass tube and boiled for 30-60 minutes (s-5).
