Spatial orientation: up/down: an object with up/down orientation must be understood as typically oriented along the axis of gravity, front/back: humans and animals have a natural front/back orientation determined by primary source of perception. Sept 19, 2017: left/right: an object which can be viewed as having left/right orientation must also have the up/down and front/back orientation.
