Citing: reporting expressions, parenthetical citation, secondary citation, end reference. Means that the evidence of your learning is reflected on exams, assignments, group projects, etc. , is genuinely yours, and not produced in a fraudulent manner. When a student presents work or data as their own when part, or whole, was written or composed by someone other than the student. All documentation styles require you to cite all source material, whether quoting directly, paraphrasing, or summarizing. Must show source information within body of document (in-text citation) and on separate reference page (reference citations) at end document. Located in brackets at the end of a sentence. Secondary citation: citing someone who is citing someone. You must include both sources in-text but only list author(s) from the document you are reading on your reference page. The secondary author source (as cited in) = the one you read the information in. Youth sentencing is problematic (parkinson, 2012; as cited in landry, 2014, p. 325)
