Reverse the significance of the artist and consider the complexity of interpretation. This mentioned how language can be relative and one can never guarantee the intention of meaning of anything. How meaning is very much in and engaged with the participant and not authorian intention. Art must stop being identified and become the work with everyone, everywhere. There is no absolute meaning and meaning is subscribed. Associated with minimalism, the grid, ideas about mirrors, physically reflects the viewer from the artwork. Literally inviting the viewer to become a participant. Rejection of the idea of the artwork being specific object and now a series of objects for the viewer to walk around. No longer a 2-d a(cid:396)t, it"s (cid:374)o(cid:449) (cid:1007)-d and physical. They used: industrial materials, rigid planes of colours, grids & mathematical formulas, against illusions and symbolism, devoid of external references, new relationship with space and the viewer; the relationship is much more active.
