Parapatric speciation: they"re still breeding (ring species) but the geographic separation gives similar stories. Each one adapts to a certain side geographically, when those two lines of different species meet, the hybrid won"t be able to hide on ground or whatever. (cid:396)ei(cid:374)fo(cid:396)(cid:272)e(cid:373)e(cid:374)t: the hy(cid:271)(cid:396)id does(cid:374)"t have either of the 2 traits. Over time that could lead into 2 separate species. Polar and grizzly are probably gonna give us the original ancestors, so no new species. Hybrid zone formation: most of the stuff are subspecies of other species but had formed their own zone. Extinction: one goes extinct n one stays. Vicariance (geological event), something that changes the conditions, continental drift. Second type (dispersal event): dispersal, wind currents, ocean currents. Ice age vicariance: ice crawler, has an unusual features, altered its features after the last ice age.
