Joseph campbell-hero with a thousand faces: cosmogenic cycle- has an initiation of the journey and return, a hero is usually special such as partially divine, inheriting special abilities etc. A desire for fame to take on the adventure. Often find some kind of mystic friend which is often a double or a shadow of himself. Often has a training from some sort of earthly enemy (chthonic) A crossing into the underworld, a battle with guardians and period of testing reaching the celestial realms. The return can be another journey which can also be dangerous.
