During 1970s after oil crisis, western economy comes to halt and third world is in turmoil but japan during 1970s, launched a period of explosive growth on the power of its technologies. Japan became a model for asian development. Japan could also be an emblem for which the direction in which canadian society is going: particularly the embrace of technology and modernity is leading to lack of sex. 50% of japanese young people have little to no interest in sex. When you look at japanese society, this is a national security threat because the population is aging and their isn"t enough people to replace the workforce and they have the largest debt in oecd. After wwii, japan was a complete wreck. By 1980, japan was the second largest economy in the world. Japan was the one nation that came upon a path that led to development that was based on export industrialization.
