There is some evidence that hormones can in uence homosexuality. Until 1970s, was considered a mental disease. There is a difference between disease and illness. Disease: a description of your current state. Illness: something that is hurtful and unwanted. If the universe is natural, everything is natural. The unnatural would be things that violate the laws of the universe (i. e. miracles) Normativity: the view of health according to which health is an essentially evaluative notion - saying what counts as health or disease unavoidably involves a judgment as to whether a particular state is valued or disvalued. Strong novrmativism: the view that health judgments are pure evaluations without descriptive meaning. Weak normativism allows such judgments a descriptive as well as a normative component. Is ethics, right and wrong, good and bad. We mistakenly place normativity on health - it"s right or wrong. Illness is normative - something should be done about this.
