However, there is agreement on some characteristics of intelligence. In order to answer this question, researchers use factor analysis. Spearman is the co-creator of the factor analysis. Concluded that there are 2 major factors to take into consideration. S: speci c abilities (ex. reasoning, verbal, spacial, etc. ) 1 intelligence only because they are all related. We must take into consideration the culture. Brain damage: some abilities are affected whereas others remain intact. Savants: person who is extraordinary in some abilities and below average in others. Danielle could recite the rst 22 000 digits of pi, but could not drive. Prodigies: extraordinary in some ways and average in others. Spacial (relationship between objects in space --> decorator/architect) Naturalist (people who understand nature --> farmer/biologist)
