Teacher or government job: young parents, highly risky; babies more likely to be premature. Likely to be raised in single-parent home: teens are still finding their own identity. Late parents: children can expect a stable home, financial income, good neighbourhood, older women at greater risk for problems, reproductive technologies; at risk for multiple births.
