Clinician may diagnose insomnia disorder if somebody is distressed about their sleep and have at least 1 of which 3 symptoms? dif culty falling asleep, staying asleep, and waking up very early and not being able to fall back asleep. Suicide attempt: carrying out a suicide plan, with an intent to die, but surviving. Suicidal gesture: apparent suicide attempt, with clearly non-lethal means. Suicidal ideation: thoughts and/or plans related to dying. Non-suicidal self-injury: self-harm without intent to die. Disorders that often lead to suicide: ptsd, bipolar, borderline pd, depressions, Schizophrenia, anxiety disorder, physical conditions, substance use disorder, Lots of comorbidity for these disorders > lots of distress.
