All these can complicate the diagnosis of mental disorders in older adults. 65-70s = 6-7 hours of sleep per night needed. Can"t get to sleep, or can get to sleep but awake frequently. Involves sudden jerking of limb while sleeping, causing one to possibly awake. Men 25-65 can have sleep apnea due to the physical structure in their mouth. Surgery on the soft palate, uvula is a treatment.
