Travelling east - go to bed earlier and earlier before you leave. Travelling west - go to bed later. Also depends on whether you"re a morning bird or night lark. As you shift your clock you also shift your meals - going to bed earlier every night and also eating earlier, etc. Diet plus clock approach works really well. Four consecutive days of feasting and fasting. Get as much light as you can when you get there.
