This instrument is used to measure the amount of light of a specified wavelength which passes through amedium. For standard solutions at a wavelength of approximately 447 nm we have examined the accuracy for the current spectrophotometers to be quite inaccurate to actual literature values. However, if current labarotory spectrophotometer are replaced with much more efficient models.
