Self conceptions become more abstract- understand that what is happening right now is just a subset of what is possible. Become aware of what is happening is a subset of what is possible- think about all the possibilities. Becomes more differentiated- take into account the situation or the context (ex: being very shy or reserved when with parents but life of the party when they are with their friends) Even though i may behave differently in different situationsthey still reflect who i am. Use more sophisticative reflecting abilities- how others see me and how i see myself.
