Chernobyl contamination led to it becoming the exclusion zone. Despite the high radiation levels, animal continued to exist and their population went up. The scientist in the video found out that there is actually life there ie. moose, boar, deer etc. Even some species were introduced [to the exclusion zone] in an attempt to prevent their extinction such as wolski horse. Cameras were placed, samples were collected etc etc. to see why there was no radiation influence more wolves were even detected near the inner parts of chernobyl (more contaminated area) The question is, can these animals thrive better in the absence of humans and their activities? . Or could they possibly be running away from people? . 2)extinction of species happens as a result of changing ecosystems caused by human activity.
