Cross sectional: survey about health efforts sent to men and women in different age groups were compared. Found that men and women were similar in health efforts in the later years. Health practices of men decreased slowly then spiked in middle age and women health efforts increased as they got older: ex. Looked at levels of self esteem as people aged between 18-35 and found the males had higher self esteem at 18 but women had equal self esteem to men by 25 they just gain it slower: ex.
