Culture is composed of symbols whose meanings are shared among a substantial number of people. Made up of 3 building blocks": abstraction, cooperation, production. Establishes norms and values that are socially shared and accepted (what is considered to be right and wrong, how to behave) The ways that tools are created to extract and create things from nature.
