Different neurotransmitters: ssri (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor): prescribed for depression. Neurons don"t reuptake --> increase serotonin levels in the synapse. Placebo effect shows up in: pain relieving situation, antidepressant has a large placebo response unless you have severe depression. Why you do not want to use placebo.
