Yoph is a phosphatase that can remove the phosphates on the proteins that are regulaing acin this essenially takes over the acin in the cell inhibiing the engulfment directly. Yoph afects the adapive immune system dephosphorylates everything in the acivaion of t cells stopping all the phosphorylaion cascades vs. Neisseria is more elegant in deacivaing t cells. Yoph and the plasmid are required for this phosphorylaion event blockade .
