Popular science mythology: popular science mythology: what you find in popular science literature, in science textbooks and in professional science accounts, after the big bang the ancient greeks came along. They tries to understand the universe, how the world worked, what things were made of, etc. You could pray to the greek gods, the egyptian. Gods, the gods of the seven, old gods, new gods or even the lord of light: this ended when christians came along. They provided a one size fits all religion . They would teach you that god made everything- the universe, mankind, all living things, etc: for a very long time there was no science, just religion, until some heroes of science appeared, among these heroes was galileo galilei. He was the first brave enough to say every thing he though about the dogmatism and the ignorance of the churchmen.
