Neuroscience: the mind is a product of brain processes. Dualism (there are two substances mater and mind) becomes replaced by materialism: there is only one substance mater. Neutral monism: there is only one substance material spiritual. Wave paricle duality: all mater has wave and corpuscular properies. Dualisic determinism: all material processes are strictly determinisic i. e. their future states strictly follow from their past states. But this do not apply to mental processes. Dualisic determinism: while in the material world, all events are strictly determinisic, the mind is free to act spontaneously. Strict determinism: all events are determined, not only physical but also mental. There can be uncaused spontaneous events in mind and physical world. Probalisic determinism: nature chooses from a limited number of possibiliies. the theory rejecion theorem: theology"s exile had to do with the acceptance of some new theories.
