Re ecting upon ones life through the topic of death. It is unethical to use one"s own value system to judge someone"s decision. With the availablility of medical life support systems, it becomes complicated. If we"re talking about unnatural, the topic of vegetarianism should be thought of too. The precept of no harm and killing is important to buddhists, however this is unnatural. In early life when the cavemen were still roaming the world, they developed the instinct to start meat eating. This allowed them to gain more nutrients and more strength to survive and outlast their enemies. As a result, we were able to evolve slowly from this process. However, if we look in today"s society, vegetarianism seems to be the most unnatural of all. Since eating leafy greens itself does not provide enough nourishment, almost all vegetarians need to take vitamin supplements.
