Document Summary

Algorithmic design lecture 2 13 september 2018. Semester is divided into 2 sections: 2d processing, 3d grasshopper. Concepts are created in order to understand the history and theory behind the design. Readings are meant to contextualize the concepts that are being taught: where things come from where they go. Inspire our designs: readings are what quizzes are based on. Morse code: type of code that reads with special symbols to transcribe a message, morse code, genetic code, building code types of code. System of words, letters, signs, signals to represent a message for communication, and clarification. Speech limits the range of communication while coding can take something further than voice can. Verbal language is one of the first codes that was created. Machine code: the language that the computer speaks, before a computer can run it has to be converted to machine code in order to run, no one programs in machine code too abstract and too lengthy.
