Borders are not clear but they"re two different issues at play. Brazilian blogger - they"re two different micro issues in a macro problem of gender disempowerment. We erase voices, specific needs, understanding their rights and what the law needs to provide for them - victimizing them. Missing and murdered indigenous women - has a lot to do with trafficking, systemic violence. Racialized and trans sex workers - disproportionately occupying sex work - trans women of colour most likely group of people to be murdered in their intersecting identities. The bedford case - not a crime to sell sex for money but to keep a bawdy-house, live on the avails of prostition or to communicate in public with respect to a proposed act of prostitution.
