Orthopraxy: emphasis on correct actions > judaism and islam. Their number and the texts recited change depending on the time of day. The night of power : the night when muhammad"s rst revelation took place. Believed to have been on one of the last ten nights of ramadan. Eid al-fitri : one of the two most important days in islam. The day that marks the end of the month of ramadan. Islam counts the years from hijra : we are in 1436 a. h. (for after hijra 622ce). Christianity counts the years from the supposed birth of jesus : 2015 a. d. (for anno domini).
