Document Summary

Assume there was a big bang about 13. 7billion years ago that created the universe. +/- 8 billion years into this was the formation of our solar system (sun, Two main groups of formation models monistic or dualistic. Everything we know about points to sun and planet forming at same event. Favored model for formation of solar system. Darker patches of the milky way are dense clouds. Huge amount of material in the clouds. Pillars seen in picture are close-up image of the dark spaces. No matter how small objects are everything exerts a force on something else and over time the pressure can create a star. Large cloud compressed to a small concentrated star. Gravity alone doesn"t work material in the nebula needs to be spinning as well. Spinning causes material to flatten into a disc. Quite a lot of material in the disc due to angular momentum. Spinning so fast and bringing all material inwards creates a jet/spin axis.
