Spartans were part of the ethnic group, dorians, who came from europe to central greece known as competitive, hardworking, sports loving (stereotype) Had a group of elders that were chosen that oversaw meetings. Had two royal families in sparta were included with the 30 elders thus 32 in total in meetings.
