Mining: terrible work conditions, the lowest of the lowest slaves work here. Domestic slaves: women, as hair dressers, bakers, men, door keepers, waiter. Prostitutes and entertainers: male and female. Worked in trade and banking: bookkeepers, agents, managers. Could not have sexual relations or get married: other than master. Family members and children are also property of the master. They are subject to whatever sexual and physical abuse. Lack of rights and lack of social identity. Brutality in theory from the master was punishable. They; steal (food and drink), sabotage, commit arson.
