Better for businesses now because shopping is faster now people don"t shop in bulk and go shopping for needed items every 2, 3, 4 days. People go buy necessary items however due to impulse buying and human nature, more is always bought thus higher profits and better for businesses. Work balanced between automation and manual activity. Selecting suppliers is complicated (manual) but searching database is repetitive (automated) A network of organizations and facilities that transforms raw materials into products delivered to customers. Involves customers, retailers, distributors, manufacturers, suppliers, transportation companies, warehouses, inventories.
