Web server a computer that delivers (serves up) web pages. Advantages of a web server: connected, always available, and well. Panther and gaul are the web servers at western. We upload our webpages onto a web server so we can see it on the internet. Client the computer that is requesting to see/visit the web page. To upload to a web server, you need to use a file transfer protocol (ftp) program such as filezilla and winscp. The screen resolution is the number of pixels across (rows) by the number of pixels down (columns). With a higher resolution, so more pixels, you can fit more data onto the screen. Amount of space the image takes up on the screen is dependent on: size of the image, the current resolution of the screen, not the dpi, dpi does not matter on monitors but ppi does.
