People who dislike the author argue that families are not driven by unequal treatment. Siblings are jealous of each other because of favoritism. Women are always doing repair work, sending cards, remembering birthdays. However bad things get, you have to stick together. It is better to marry than to burn. She remembers things from her childhood that are so small. How often can we remember things from our youth. Scent is underrated, we place less importance on it. A lot of children don"t like being touched by older people because of the sensory overload. The father is ashamed of being a cab driver. From his pov it doesn"t take a particular skill. They feel other people are judging them even when theyre not. Sometimes we don"t see them as human beings, we assume they try to take advantage of us. People getting upset with him, and him not reacting because he needs the money.
