Central location within north america with several high traffic border crossings to the us. Physical geography: in terms of land area, ontario is larger than 85% of all countries, only 7% of the province"s population lives in northern ontario, the niagara escarpment contains the most variable topography in southern ontario. Only thing that we can really talk about - other then that we are quite consistent. Tecumseh was one of the earliest indigenous leaders. The phosphates come from fertilizers from agricultural lands. We have dense areas on both sides, the fertilizers go into the lakes often and create a ton of algea (this is why they look green)
