Leaders of regime couldn"t fathom prosperous future without territorial advancement: but we know it can be- national socialists couldn"t accept this (to fulfill this destiny of theirs they needed more space space. Not strong enough in 1933 (not enough military resources), people aren"t ready or idealized yet, they don"t have allies yet. War machine is weak, italian"s aren"t strong enough- were opponents in 1st world war, not experience with cooperation together. Obstacles: destiny of austria was source of friction (austria and germany could never be politically unified and for hitler this was out of the country, any political distinction wasn"t true and made up by the jews.
