A nation cannot grow or develop without a population. Needed to create and sustain a nation. Can"t have a population without reproduction or women. Women don"t just want a population, they want the right population. In western countries usually white, christian, nativist, able-bodied, intelligent, middle class. Two case studies: quebec and nazi germany. Quebec - creating a strong francophone state with traditional french value. Nazi germany - aryan race all important. Aryan women encouraged to reproduce with aryan babies and incorporate them with nationalistic values. Nazis tried to assert control over morally and sexually on german youth. Nazis thought promiscuity, stds, homosexuality on rise. Wanted to control those vices" and reign german teenagers in. Nazis tried to regulate sexual behaviour of teenagers. Formed speci cally to in ltrate teenagers with nazi values.
