Should employers and or the government be allowed to implement policies/taces/laws regarding certain health behaviors, or is it "lifestyle discrimination" In 2016 there was a survey done that asks students a bunch of health related situations. 46% felt so depressed they couldn"t function at some time in their previous year. 15% had been treated for or diagnosed with anxiety, (compared to 10% in 2013) 18% had been treated for or diagnosed with anxiety (compared to 12% in 2013) 14% had seriously considered suicide and 2% had attempted suicide. More students than ever are entering university with a pre-existing diagnosis of mental illness. There is a decrease of stigma attached to getting help. Suicide is now the second leading cause of death. Tuition is much more expensive, and take longer to pay off. The volume and numbers are increasing year after year.
