Illiocostalis- ileum to costals , span across the back of the ribs, not as narrow as you see in the diagram. Longissimus muscle- run through triangular fissure- thoracal-lumbar fissure, long large tendon, attached to the transverse process all the way up to the vertebral column. Ventral- motor (efferent) information move out to the root. Dorsal- sensory (afferent), sensory information move into, what innervates the back muscles.
