Survivorship changes in survivorship patterns with increases in technology, need to consider suffering while surviving: all of these concepts provide a framework for the personal narrative of one"s health & well-being in the context of illness. The health care professional is often charged with such tasks. Less likely to adhere to treatment, increased dissatisfaction with care, negative effects on qol. The icf model: realize that there are additional factors that extend beyond this, key: context, enviro and personal characteristics. To note: this framework does not suggest hierarchy: all components are equal.
