Mellow dramatic = blowing a situation out of proportion: since hockey has been played back to when they played on victoria rink, violence has been connected to hockey. It used to be so aggressive the newspapers would call hockey players thugs because it was so bad murders on the rinks occurred. Justification: don cherry saying hockey is completely skill now because they are a bunch of sissies. Hockey players use to be so much tougher in the past.
