Organizational effectiveness continued: looking at differences of effectiveness and efficiency, 5 models. Prime beneficiary approach: with multiple perspectives, different from stakeholder. Looking at who benefits the most in the organization. In this model, we would look at people who benefit the most. Look from the beginning from the planning process. Individuals (performance appraisal) wont talk much about this. Individual programs (program evaluation: total organization (organizational effectiveness) What a proper evaluation can do: provide information to administrators for more informed decision making, clarify the program and its logic for users, service providers, and administrators, offer advance information for any proposed new program. Needs to implement the information to be successfu: evaluating helps us think about the decisions we made, looks at who should be involved. Standards of evaluation: think about evaluation from the outset, meeting objectives (how do you know if you reach them, standards set by experts.
