Integrative medicine focuses on health and wellness of the entire person using the bio- Psycho-social model: occasionally this model incorporates a 4th dimension: spirituality, miss less pieces of the puzzle, its used throughout, on the diagram in the centre- biological. What is health: maintaining proper body function, the absence of illnesses. Integrative medicine is compatible with the who definition of health: (cid:862)health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. (cid:863) Motivational interviewing- well researched and effective way, when the doctor/ health authority sits down with the patient and probe them with the types of questions the answers should appear self-evident after the process has occurred. Ask them types of patients and have the patients recognize.
