Imbricated in everyday life, no clear answer. 3 misconceptions of technology: technology has no meaning, and is therefore value-neutral. Tech is so essential to out being that its contingent on our other developments. As if the ceaseless distortion of our lived experience by the tools we are always using was somehow meant to happen, being part of some predetermined evolutionary process that cannot (and should not) be stopped. Hence, unrestricted technological development is presumed to be natural" and good, for through it we"ll work to achieve our destiny to become the masters of the universe. Experts in variety of fields present uniform vision of world in which technologies we use are said to free us and moving forward humanity fulfilling destiny to end things like suffering. The presumed link between technology and destiny is something we should be suspicious of: men trying to escape the limitations of their body to enhance themselves.
